Check in your owners manual for instructions to deactivate the active seat belt alert system.
The steps below may work.
The Enhanced Warning System (BeltAlert) can be enabled
or disabled by your authorized dealer or by
following these steps:
NOTE: The following steps must occur within the first
60 seconds of the ignition switch being turned to the ON
or START position. DaimlerChrysler does not recommend
deactivating the Enhanced Warning System
(BeltAlert).
1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position and
buckle the driver's seat belt.
2. Start the engine and wait for the Seat Belt Warning
Light to turn off.
3. Within 60 seconds of starting the vehicle, unbuckle
and then re-buckle the driver's seat belt at least three
times within 10 seconds, ending with the seat belt
buckled.
NOTE: Watch for the Seat BeltWarning Light to turn on
while unbuckling and off while re-buckling the seat belt.
It may be necessary to retract the seat belt.

Bypass the air conditioning on a 1998 Dodge Stratus with a smaller serpentine belt.
You can't bypass with a belt alone. You have to by a bypass pulley kit. The new pulley takes the place of the ac compressor and you use the same size belt.
Check with your local part store for a bypass pulley or belt.

3.5L and 4.0L do have a timing belt.
2.4L and 2.7L have a chain. 3.5L has a belt.
The serpentine should route the same as with the AC except fro the AC compressor. The belt will go straight past the compressor, so you will need a shorter belt to make the bypass work.
Yes, just buy a belt for a 2004 Dodge Ram with the same engine, that is not equipped with A/C.
The 24L in a 2010 Dodge Avenger has a timing chain, not a belt. The timing chain should last the life of the car.
The 3.5 litre V6 engine in a 2010 Dodge Charger has a timing BELT
If you are just wanting to stop the buzzer from sounding, then the easiest way is to unplug the sensor plug under the drivers seat. If that doesn't work then put a paper clip in the plug that you just unplugged to bypass it.
