The parking brake interlock on an in car video player is a safety feature to prevent the driver being distracted. It should not be disabled.
Yea mate, is meant to connect to your handbrake usually but just join it to your earth wire.
the wire needs ground to function. Connecting it to the ebrake allows it to ground so just connect the video wire to any ground and it will function as if it was connected to the ebrake
I have a clarion unit and what i did was run the green brake wire to chassis ground, tap in a toggle switch by cutting the green wire & wiring the green wire to the toggle switch. When the clarion unit is on all you have to do is turn the switch off then on, and that will bypass the brake switch allowing to watch video moving or sitting. Mine works perfect.
I have just installed a indash in my infiniti i30 1998. The amp and subwoofers work but the speakers in the inside of the car does not work. Did I blow a fuse or do I have to bypass the factory amps. The system that I took out before the installation was a factory bose system.
Yes, but they are very expensive. (Typical Price can be around $999)
An indash gps device price ranges depending on the quality of the device. Prices can range from 400 dollars all the up to 2000 dollars so the best option is to go online or check your local stores.
This is illegal in most states. No info can be given.
What indash DVD player play videos off a thumbdrive
you would have to have a indash that includes angle setings other then that you are out of luck
Actually the anti theft device is just a metal bracket that connects to the indash stereo itself and bolts on to the inside of the stereo unit housing (way towards the back!) . It can easily be re-connected. It can even be reconnected after putting in an aftermarket stereo as well
i have a 97 Concorde so its pretty much the same. all you do is pop off the casing around the stereo, undo the bolts take it out, buy a wire harness and a deck kit, and wala it is simple as that...i put a pioneer DVD indash in mine with 2 sony xplod 12's and a 1200w amp with a capacitor
put in the stock radio, does your car start, if it does then its the radio causing the problem, if not then more problems then the radio. if it does start with the stock radio in i would think the aftermarket radio is causing some kind of fault in the car, perhaps the radio is sending a faulty message in the i-bus telling the car not to start. i would jump out any bus wires so they are not routed through the aftermarket radio and see what happens. good luck.
