The bulk density of screed is 22KN/m³. Simply multiply by the thickness to get a weight.

22kN/m³ = 22000N/m³

1 Newton = Mass x Acceleration = kg * g (g is acceleration due to gravity)

On earth g is 9.8

22000N/m³ = 2245kg/m³

You then multiply this by the thickness to get the surface mass. Say it is 50mm

2245kg/m³ x 0.005m = 112.25kg/m²

You then multiply this by the area of the floor to get the total floor weight.

If you have 100m² floor area then

112.25kg/m² x 100m² = 11225kg

How do you calculation standard deviation of concrete cubes?

You cannot calculate standard deviation for objects such as concrete cubes - you can only calculate standard deviation for some measure - such as side length, surface area, volume, mass, alkalinity or some other measure.

How much does one yard of wet concrete weigh?

AnswerDepending on the relative proportions of water, sand, stone, and cement, the weight per cubic yard can vary from less than 2000 lbs to nearly 3500 lbs; I would estimate most commercially (truck) delivered concrete would run close to 3300 lbs per cubic yard - remember there are 27 cubic feet in a cubic yard!

How do you calculate the force exerted by a person on the floor?

To calculate the force exerted by a person on the floor, we can use Newton's second law of motion: force = mass × acceleration. In this case, the mass would be the person's weight (mass = weight / acceleration due to gravity), and the acceleration would be the force of gravity acting on the person (acceleration = 9.8 m/s^2). By multiplying the person's weight by the acceleration due to gravity, we can determine the force exerted by the person on the floor.

What is the difference between lean concrete and mass concrete?

Mass concrete is concrete cast without Rebars. They are good in compression and are mostly used for the construction of gravity structures such as Dams. While reinforced concrete have reinforcement bars in them, which increases the tensile strenght of the concrete.

In what circumstances will mass concrete be recommeded in preference to reinforced concrete?

Mass concrete foundations are economical where the side of the excavation can be used as a shutter and where suitable depth of mass can be accommodated to disperse the load without the need for reinforcement.

no limited quantity, it depends on the volume required by the subject

If an object with a mass of 20kg is lying on the floor of a lift and the lift accelerates downwards at 4ms calculate the magnitude of the force exerted by the floor of the lift on the object?

The answer would be 80kg/ms or 80N because: force= mass x acceleration = 20kg x 4ms =80kg/ms =80N
