Wash your hands (no smelly soaps) and check nestbox for dead babies. After you determine there are no dead ones that should end your handling of babies until they are up and jumping out of their nest box (about 2 weeks of age) Mom should be fed her normal ration plus two ounces if she has a small to medium size litter, plus 4 ounces if she has a large litter. (medium to large size breeds) Treats like carrots, carrot tops, apples and Oranges are great. Plenty of fresh water and peace and quiet.

10 rabbits born alive 3 days later mother rejects 6 rabbits?

If you touch a rabbit under 6-8 months the mother will start to think the ones you hvae touched are not her little loved ones and if u don't leave them alone she may kill or just not feed them and they will have to be hand reared xx i xxANSWER: That's not necessarily true. If the mother is a new mother, first timer, 10 kits may be too many for her to handle. There could be something wrong witht eh kits, usually a mother rabbit's instincts are very good. She will abandon the babies if they will die later or will have diformities or are sick.Theres a number of reasons why a mother would abandon her kits.PS if you touch rabbits when they are born then your hands have to be SOOOO clean.

Can You put baby rabbits in to a new bed?

You can move baby rabbits to a new bed if you do it carefully, preserving some of the original bedding, or by putting vanilla on the mama rabbit's nose to prevent her from detecting any strange smells. This can also be done when you want to foster a baby rabbit to another mother. Vicks vapor rub can also be used on the mother's nose.
