The best thing to do is to call a Vet that deals with reptiles, just to make sure that everything is going okay and that you won't have to do anything special for the eggs. Good luck and God Bless:)
Tortoises will bury their eggs in the terrarium if the sand is warm, slightly moist, and at least as deep as their shell length. depending on their size, some European tortoises lay as many eggs as thirty eggs a year. after the eggs are laid, you should remove them to safety so that the tortoise will not damage them in the confined space of the terrarium. Mark the top of each egg with a soft lead pencil. They must not be turned for the rest of the incubation period. Otherwise, the yolk will crush the embryo, and it will die. Although many species deposit all the eggs at once, others do so at intervals of five to thirty days. Numbering the eggs will help you know when to expect hatchlings to emerge. The incubation chamber consists of a clear plastic container, half filled with slightly moist vermiculite (from the hardware store) or damp builder's sand. Bury the eggs halfway in the vermiculite. Then close the lid of the container. The humidity inside will rise to the 100-percent level that is needed. Lift the lid once a day, and fan a little fresh air into the container. To keep condensation on the underside of lid from dripping onto the eggs (which can kill the embryos), tilt the container, setting one edge on a matchbox or similar object so condensation can run off lid at an angle. Now place the container of eggs into a room where the ambient temperature is 82 degrees.
You should call a vet that helps reptiles, just to make sure that everything is going good and that you won't have to do anything special for the eggs. (If these are your own baby turtles good luck with them.)
Sea turtles will return to the sea after buring the eggs they've laid on a beach. When the eggs hatch they have to get to the ocean themselves. Look at this... "The females try to find a safe place that will be good for the eggs to hatch, and they dig a nest in the ground. Different kinds of turtles look for different kinds of places to nest, but they all dig with their hind legs. When they get the nest just right, they lay the eggs. Some turtles lay just one or two eggs each time, and some lay dozens of eggs at a time. Most turtles leave the nest, but some mothers have been seen guarding their nests to keep the eggs safe from snakes. North American Wood Turtles have been seen doing this in areas where egg-eating snakes are a problem. Burmese Tortoises will sometimes stand guard too. They don't take care of babies once they have hatched though. The hatchlings are on their own." That was from http://www.turtlepuddle.org/kidspage/questions.html... Hope it helped :)!
Get it out ASAP!!! But if it has been in there for more than 2 hours then you might as well throw it away.
all you have to do is make sure she has land of...sand, dirt or mud...for when she is ready to lay the eggs
well u make sure you don't touch the eggs and keep them under a lite. But the most important thing is you need a mother and father to take care of them
Well, the first thing you should do is put them in a bucket if they hatch drive or bike there and send them free and if there hungry feed them the turtle food from a pet store.
A turtle or tortoise
Turtle eggs (and tortoise eggs) can be either hard or soft-shelled, depending on the species.
That would depend on the species of turtle. Sea turtle eggs are approximately that size.
It depends on the size of the bird and turtle.
The female turtle will lay the eggs and the male comes along and fertilizes them. The female turtle will lay eggs even if there is no male turtle around.
well get a shoebox and fill it 3 inches high with chemical free soil and let your pregnant turtle hang out in there and see if she lays eggs if she does take her out and put her away into a tank and let her eggs sit on a brick in very little water not touching the eggs or they WILL die!!!
You cannot "raise" turtle eggs other than by putting them in an elevator!
mmm canned turtle eggs
Turtle frogs do not lay eggs in trees. The turtle frog lays its eggs in a deep burrow after mating.
