∙ 12y agoYou can easily catch a Mew right at the beginning of the game, after fighting misty and a bit before going to bill's house. Use cerulean's pokecenter to heal your Pokemon. THIS IS VITAL. Then, go and catch an Abra. DO NOT FIGHT THE MAN IN THE GRASS TO THE LEFT OF THE TOP OF NUGGET BRIDGE. IF YOU DO, THE GLITCH IS RUINED. You must not have fought either this man or the youngster facing north with a slowpoke near bill. After catching an Abra, put it in your party. Save the game, and walk to the top of nugget bridge. Walk to the corner of the water directly to the left of nugget bridge, closest to the man. Save the game. Now, press down and hold start immediately afterwards. Release it when the menu comes up. Tell Abra to teleport. When you've done this, and done it correctly, the man will see you as you teleport away. Upon landing, your start button will not work. Walk up nugget bridge and fight the youngster with a slowpoke. You must let him walk to you, or the game will freeze. After you beat him, your start button will work again. Teleport again and walk up nugget bridge after landing. About 1/3 of the way up, your menu will come up by itself. If you press the B button, the menu will close and a battle will begin. A level 7 mew will appear, and it is hard to catch. Using a low level (7-9) Pokemon to get its HP down and then putting it to seep with a jigglypuff will allow it to be caught easily with a pokeball.

∙ 12y agoTo the best of my knowledge, it depends on what type of code you have, if you have a code that says to press select, then press select to start the battle (anywhere), if you have the code that just says "mew" with all of the other Pokemon, pick the code and run in the grass and you will find mew. I use the code that just says "mew" (also known as Wild Pokemon Modifier *sp*) because you have more freedom in the level of the mew you want, the level will depend on the locatoin you search at and the level of the Pokemon that are normally there. (1. Get it by trading NOTHING for it at a Nintendo Event(those aren't happening for GBC games anymore)
(2. Use a GameShark*
(3. The Mew Trick.
*WARNING: GameSharks may corrupt your save file.
THE MEW TRICK
-First catch an Abra.
-Then go north of nugget bridge.
-Once you reach the end, go left.
-Stop at the corner.
-take one step AWAY from the corner.
-SAVE(optional)
-Take one step TOWARDS the corner.
-SAVE IF YOU HAVEN'T SAVED YET.(NOT OPTIONAL)
-Take one step forwards AND PRESS START AT THE SAME TIME.
-GO to Pokemon
-Select your Abra
-Select Teleport.
-If you did it right, you should be teleporting to the last Pokemon Center(Should be Cerulean City's) you used.
-Go up Nugget Bridge / Go inside the Gym
-Walk atleast ONE space IN FRONT of the Youngster with a Slowpoke(WITHOUT BATTLING ANOTHER TRAINER EXCEPT FOR THE MOUNTAIN MAN) / Walk INFRONT of the Swimmer.
-Beat the trainer
-Teleport back / walk to Pokemon Center
-GET A POKEMON THAT WILL NOT MAKE LEVEL 7 POKEMON FAINT WITH ONE MOVE(if you haven't)
-Buy pokeballs if you haven't
-Walk up Nugget Bridge
-As soon as you enter the next route, YOUR START MENU SHOULD APPEAR
-Press Exit or B
You will encounter a Level 7 Mew.

∙ 11y agoMew is not obtainable in White 2. Mew was given away a long time ago so the only way to get Mew is through the Global Trade if you can meet the trade requirements the other person wants
