That's not a particularly easy question to answer for several reasons. Depending on how hard or soft the water in an aquarist or breeders particular area is it can make it easier or more difficult to breed certain species. One thing is for sure though. Livebearers (guppies, mollies, platies, and swordtails) will readily breed in nearly any livable conditions. In fact sometimes a female livebearer will change her sex to male when no males are present.
