96 Ford aerostar wipers Front wiper:
To remove: pull arm away from windshield turn wiper blade right angles to wiper arm exposing plastic clip
Press release on plastic wiper clip and pull clip and wiper out of arm hook.
This can be tight and need a bit of strength.
Tip
Looking at replacement wipers' clip will help you identify the release on the old wiper.
Also some wiper manufacturers include a diagram with their wiper blade instructions
Follow wiper mfrs instructions for new wiper clip but when inserting wiper arm hook through wiper,- keep wiper at right angles to wiper arm- as this will allow access to pinch the plastic wiper clip so it fits inside the arm hook .
Once the clip is pushed into the hook you can pivot wiper to its correct position.
clean any grime off windshield where wiper rests.
Rear window: insert a flat blade screwdriver into the seam in the wiper BLADE where the wiper arm pin goes through the wiper blade. and slide wiper blade (sideways away from arm) off pin.
Again having the replacement wiper blade and looking at the instruction diagrams will help identify how it is held -- completely different from front wiper but simpler to do.
press the new wiper sideways onto the pin until it clicks
wipe any grime off window where wiper sits.
