The below instructions were determined by changing the fluid myself in a 2005 Chrysler 300c SRT8. These instructions may or may not apply to other Chrysler 300 models & years. Step 1. Raise rear of car by placing jack under the rear differential once high enough to get under support car with jack stands either on the rocker panel where its marked or other suitable location. Step 2. Drain fluid by removing plug on lower passenger side of differential. This will be a 13mm Allen wrench plug. (Please properly dispose of old fluid, most auto parts store will take your use oil.) Replace plug Step 3. Remove fill plug (also a 13mm Allen wrench) located about mid height on driver side of differential. Fill with the synthetic 75-140W gear oil. Capacity should be about a quart & 1/2. Filling it may be a little tricky as the exhaust pipe might be in the way. A suggestion is to get a tight fitting piece of clear hose & push it over the tip of the gear oil bottle place the other end in the fill hole and squeeze the oil into the differential. Replace fill plug. Step 4. Remove everything from under car and lower to the ground. Good luck!!!
