Locate the filter housing and remove the drain plug allowing the oil to drain. Remove the filter cap, O-ring and cartridge and clean and examine them for damage. Install the new housing and O-ring in the same position and replace any damaged parts. Slide the O-ring around in its groove until it straightens out.
