you have to start by unscrewing the two screws on top of your dash,(they're up top and near the bottom of your windshield. Then look underneath the steering wheel and unscrew all the little screws holding the bottom part of the dash to the steering column and to the top. Then take a small flathead screwdriver and pop out the headlamp and foglight switch and the switch on the other side, (i think its the rear defrosthttp.gif)Now you can take your dash apart and get to your gauge cluster. Continue to unscrew all the tiny screws(its a bunch of them) and then you can get to the bulbs.http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/transport027.gif
Speedometer cable replace 1989 toyota
Will parts off 1985 mustang interchange with 1989 gt mustang?
Yes
Back of the speedometer, through the firewall and into the top of the transmission.
Most likely have to change the cable.
On a 1989, the speedometer signal comes from the sensor in the housing where the passenger side axle shaft goes in the transmission.
(I pretty sure) The new engine, headers; all that stuff.
To make it easy yes, otherwise you have to drill out the old one.
rusty
No , just the 2.3 liter 4 cylinder or the 5.0 liter V8 engines were available in a 1989 Ford Mustang
Yes
