First, I have to assume the question refers to that part of the dash where the speedometer and fuel gauge are. Now look above those dials for two screws holding the trim piece in place and remove them. Gently pull the trim piece out and work it past and above the steering wheel. Then look for three screws holding the gauge box in place (one on top and two at the bottom on either side). A magnetic phillips-head screw driver works best here. After removing a total of five screws, you've finished the hard part. Now bring the gauge box forward (wire harness and all) and flip towards you. You'll see three BIG black twist caps that hold the bulbs and a bunch of SMALL twist caps for the other bulbs that probably aren't causing you any trouble. Just make 1/4 turns to remove the bulbs from the panel. The bulbs pull straight out of their holders for replacement.
Hope this helped.
What model of Corolla ? You have to take the dash board out and the bulbs can be removed and replaced from the back. The dashboard on the Corolla is not that difficult to take out, but you have to do it slowly and carefully.
on your dash,
The 1998 Toyota Corolla OBD 2 port is under driver side dash below hood release
Under the dash drivers side
If your 92 Toyota Corolla taillights are out, but the dash light and fuse work fine, the bulbs could have burn out. Replace bulbs on each side.
It is practically impossible to reach up behind the dash to change the bulbs. Remove the trim around the instrument panal and you should be able to pull it out enough to change the bulbs. You may have to disconnect the speedometer to get it out far enough.
I think you have to take apart your dash, get a haynes manual or of the like.
It means one of them is burned out.
brake light on dash blinking
Look under the hood, can you tell me where dash light fuse is?
To change the gauge lights on a 1998 Ford Taurus SE, the dash cover has to be removed to access the burned out bulbs. There are screws and clips holding the dash cover on.
This requires you to pull the dash panel out - the bulbs are located behind that. You will need to remove the trim pieces around the dash - then the dash display itself. Good luck. Eric
