Are you talking about the electric engine fan belt? Or the poly v-belt on the engine that drives all the componants? Well you cant replace the engine electric fan belt so I'm guessing your talking about the engine belt. There is a belt tensioner you need to release to be able to remove the belt. 2 differant styles, one has a inverted torx head sticking straight out from the tensioner pulley and the other style has a 17mm nut located under the tensioner pulley to the left (looking at the front of the engine) so use either of these 2 sockets and release the tension by turning counter clockwise to unload the spring (note, you are you removeing any bolt or nut) then once the tensioner is turned back the belt will be loose, and can be removed.
