the best thing to do is to pull out the engine and replace them all with brass freeze plugs because if on fails it will only be a while before you have more, and use antifreeze coolant
You will have to remove the transmission and torque converter from the car to get to the front seal.
you will have to pull the tranny out to change it and then you can pop it out with a screwdriver.
