If this is a stock HD CV carb, remove the old inlet by breaking off the plastic elbow and use a small easy out to extract the brass nipple. Be careful not to use too large of an easy out as it could crack the aluminum bowl if expands too much. Replace by pressing in a new inlet (all brass, about $12.00) using a large C-clamp.
