Remove the fuel tank. It's just a couple straps, the fuel lines, the electrical connection and the filler tube but the tank might be heavy if there is much fuel inside. Once the tank is down, you should be able to see the fuel pump plate on top of the tank. Clean off any debris/gravel/mud before you start to remove the pump. Note that once the screws are out, the rubber sealant sticks to the pump assembly and you'll need to work it loose.

It should have no more and no less then 9 to 13 LBS of pressure. It must be on the money. If not then replace fuel filter and fuel pump.
