where is the fuse located for rear wiper
no
Im having the same problem head unit wont turn think ive tripped it as didnt put tape on the remote wire
Hi, if it's any use, I have a 2002 Octavia, and I am replacing mine as a coin shorted it recently. I have diagrams that show me it is Fuse no. 41 which is 15 amps. In Right-hand drive, this is the bottom left corner fuse, fourth fuse from bottom. In Left-hand drive, it's bottom right, 4th from bottom as it's mirrored.
At the side of the dashboard (left-hand side on European versions). Pry the cover open using a flat screwdriver-like tool, preferably in plastic. Other fuses are in the battery compartment.
in the fuse box
Locate the driver-side dashboard side, it's actually a cover. Pry open with a flat screwdriver or similar (be careful to avoid damage). It reveals MOST fuses; the cardboard diagram fixed inside the cover shows exactly the position of the fuse you need. Use the pincer-like tool fixed close to the diagram to remove the old fuse. Check for short-circuit or similar failure before replacing the fuse with the new one of the same capacity (Amps).
on top of the battery
look in the manual it in the electrical part of the book. If you have a RHD car it could be reversed watch out. remember when you change the fuse use the same colour as this is the correct rating for the circuit, if it is to low it will keep blowing and you will need to replace it or if it to high you could cause a electrical fire if ther was a fault on the circuit. hop this helps
