It should be similar to the 98 Ultra in which you have to replace the entire switch panel (buy at junk yard). Take the door panel off (you might have to buy a manual at the parts house or read at library to find out where fasteners are), unplug the connector to the switch panel. There should be two hold downs tabs with compression fittings holding it to the door panel. Compress these and remove switch assembly. Insert new switch assembly, ensuring clips are engaged, and reverse process to reassemble door.
how to replace window toggle switch 1999 buick century

you should be able to take the cover off the driver's door by unscrewing it,then unplug the window switch and replace it,fairly easy..
Pop out the switch panel and remove the two screws disconnect the wiring and reinstall the new switch
Remove the decorative cover to the window switch panel. Remove the window switch retaining screws. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the window switch. Reverse the process to install the new window switch.
measure the wndow and whatever the size is go to the window shop and if they have the right size then it is complete
just pull the switch board out then there is a cable in the board just pull it out to diss connect it
See where you grab to pull the door shut? Down in there is a little vinyl cover. Pull it up and there's a 7mm bolt. Remove that and the window switch assembly will pull out.
I would try the window switch first , but if you are going to replace the switch then you will see how to replace the motor. You would have to take the door panel apart after that its easy.
Both window switch on the front door will lower the window, the problem is that both switch will not raise the window back up to its close position and also the master window switch on the Driver's side will not operate all the time nor will the master door lock on the driver's side lock the passenger side door. On several ocasion the driver's side window switch lowered it's window and it would'nt raise the window back up unless after quite a few minutes playing with the window switch, opening the door, etc.
No you can't.
how do you know its the switch? does the window (power) move up & down? You can use the other switch from the right or left hand side of the one that works. switch the wires. if the windows work, then its the switch. if the switch doesn't work, then its the window motor.
