Get a Haynes Repair Manual for your truck(found at auto parts stores), as you need to tighten the bolts in a specific order. Plus it gives you pictures, you know, worth 1,000 words thing.
Also, you will need a HUGE wrench to separate the fan from the pump, I think it was 1 & 7/16ths I used? I think the bolts were 15MM. I just changed mine on my 02 Dakota 4.7L yesterday.
While you are at it(being that you already have your coolant system drained) you might consider replacing the fan clutch, atleast the lower radiator hose(buy the package of grease, WAY easier to put the new one on) & thermostat, upper hose if it needs it, but that one is still easy to get to later.
