if it is a 7.3 l
remove serpentine belt
remove bottom radiator hose and dump coolant
remove radiator hose from water pump
remove water pump
install new pump
reconnect radiator hose
reconnect bottom hose to radiator
fill with coolant
replace serpentine belt
start engine
let it get to running temp
check coolant leve;
