Pop off the little plastic disc within the housing of the wing mirror control panel. Undo the screw inside, and pull off the cover.
Undo the three (star headed) torque screws, and unclip the molex electrical connection. Remove the old mirror, replace with the new and reverse the procedure to finish.
Hope this was useful. Just be careful sourcing your replacement wing mirror, because it seems that Mk2 and Mk3 while very similar on the outside have different sized electrical connection plug
I would only use the wiring loom from a MK1, as the MK2 wiring could be completely different!
Smash the driver's side window in with a hammer then try to hotwire it. Should activate the alarm nicely.
Open door, on the inside on the plastic triangle, there'll be a black cap where a bolt would be - take cap off, unscrew, take off black plastic triangle. There'll be 3 bolts in there, you'll need to unscrew / remove inner door panel. unscrew bolts, pull off the facade, you'll get to all 3 bolts. Undo these, take off wing mirror. Rest is quite self explanatory. Good luck!
There were many variants of the Spitfire with different wings, fuselages, engines and propellers. Wing spans went from 32 ft for the Mk V up to 40 ft for the high altitude models. The most common wing on many models was 36 ft 10 in.
Remove the door panel and then you get access to the speaker
the hydrogen slice will get smaller
Mk VI, Vickers Mk VII, Tetrarch Mk I, Matilda Mk II, Matilda II Mk III, Valentine Mk IV, (A22) Churchill Sherman Mk VI, Crusader Mk VIII, Cromwell Comet I (A34) Centurion (A41) Archer
Many Spitfire PR XIX models had the upgraded Mk VII wing and an extra fuselage tank. These aircraft had a range of 900-1,000 miles.
The TDCi uses a chain not belt Not always! On the Mk 4 TDCi 140 is fitted a Peugeot engine called Duratorq, and being peugeot, has a BELT, I believe part belt part chain drive actually. This applies to all the Mk 4 Duratorqs, 1.8, 2.0 maybe 2.2 as well Apart from early auto cars, when the change is at 65,000 miles, others are scheduled at 125,000. Seems a lot, had mine done at 105,000, cost with full kit and water pump(i think) is around £300.
As of the latest available data, MK One's population is approximately 200,000 people.
Mk 42
