  1. Have the air conditioning system discharged
  2. Remove the air filter housing
  3. Remove the radiator protector cover and the upper air deflector
  4. Push the inner air deflector forward for additional clearence
  5. Disconnect the refrigerant inlet and outlet lines from the condenser
  6. On Explorers with rear air conditioning disconnect the spring-lock coupling on the rear air conditiong outlet line
  7. Remove the accumulator bracket bolts and position the accumulator with the air conditioning lines to the side
  8. Remove the left and right radiator brackets
  9. Remove the left and right condenser core brackets
  10. Carefully move the radiator forward and remove the condenser.
