If it's serpentine (ribbed belt) just find an idler pulley (they are the smooth ones) the belt runs across, use a socket that fits bolt in center of that pulley and use it to push it to the side against the spring inside. This will create slack in the belt and it can be slipped off. It's easier with a helper to hold the idler, while someone manipulates the belt. You can also use a pry bar. The socket trick only works if idler moves to the right (left may loosen center bolt before it moves, but you can try it)
