first put the car in neutral and lock your ebrake. then i believe you just push down on the chrome plastic cover below the OEM knob to expose the retaining screw. if the chrome doesnt slide then ive heard you can give it a quarter turn before you push down and it will work. just be sure to keep the ca in neutral the whole time of removing and installing the retaining screw so you dont damage your shifter. when you are replacing the retaing screw i believe you need to torque it to 18ft-lbs. enjoy!
