Unless you have a set of torches then you will never get them out. Also when you pull them out they will usually take the threads with them unless you can get it really hot.
No, the spark plugs and O2 sensor are totally different things. that is not right!! they are the same things!!
To change an O2 sensor you need to disconnect the wiring harness from the sensor. Use an O2 sensor socket and ratchet set to remove the old sensor and replace with the new one.
to change o2 sensor ,you need to buy a o2 sensor socket from a parts store then disconnect neg terminal on battery ,after that disconnect wire connecter on o2 sensor and remome o2 sensor
You will have the check engine light on. Oxygen sensors throw very specific codes. Basically you need to use an error code reader. I did and it said the o2 sensor, in my Volvo 2001 s40 has two of them and I need to know which one to change?
With an o2 sensor socket.
Lambda is o2 sensor in exhaust pipe.
1995 vehicles did not have post cat o2 sensors.
To replace the O2 sensor on a 1993 Volvo 240, first, locate the sensor, which is typically found on the exhaust manifold or downpipe. Disconnect the electrical connector and use an O2 sensor socket or wrench to unscrew the old sensor. Install the new sensor by threading it into the same location, tightening it securely, and then reconnecting the electrical connector. Finally, start the engine and check for any error codes or issues.
It is your 2nd (Bank 2) O2 sensor.
To replace the O2 sensor in a Volvo S70, first, ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the negative battery terminal. Locate the O2 sensor, which is typically found on the exhaust manifold or in the exhaust pipe. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the old sensor, then install the new sensor by threading it in and tightening it securely. Finally, reconnect the battery terminal and clear any error codes if necessary.
The oxygen sensor is screwed into the exhaust manifold on the rear of the engine on a 1995 Chrysler Town and Country.
4 wires, the black ones are the O2 heater (on the sensor side), the white and green are the O2 sensor itself
