How do you change brake switch on Nissan Maxima?

On a 2000 Nissan Maxima, there are two switches located under the dash on the driver side up near the steering column. One is for the cruise and the other, up higher on the steering column is the brake switch. It's difficult but you need to reach up and twist the switch about a 1/8 of a turn Counterclock wise facing the front of the vehicle and to replace, you need to depress the brake pedal some so you can get the switch in far enough and turn it clockwise a 1/8 of a turn. Sounds simple, but unless your hands are small and you're quite strong, have fun. (They must make a special tool that the dealer uses).
