To replace the door hinge pins on a 1997 Jimmy you will need to open the door up. Place two jack stands on the front and back of the door's length at the bottom portion of the door for support. Remove the damaged hinge pin with the proper socket. Place the new hinge pin in place and secure it.
Are the screws on the door hinge stripped?
The '90 camaro has three bolts that hold the door hinge to the body and I believe three that hold the hinge to the door. The easiest way I've found is to score the position of the original hinge location and remove the bolts with the appropriate wrench with the door open. Be sure to have the door supported because it will try to sag. Once the new hinge is in place, align it to the original hinges location and tighten your bolts down.
Bro, DOOR-HINGE. Door-hinge rhymes with Orange.
