The Game gives you one of the three ranks (Mogul,Maniac and fearless) random but you can buy change your title on the marketplace.
no, you can't change your player status [fearless, maniac, mogul] unless you create a new Mafia Wars account.
you can change from the 3 different class in the game. if you are currently a maniac, you can change your class to mogul or fearless and vice versa.
Go to marketplace, on the STAT ITEMS( ENERGY, ETC) bar, the last item at the bottom is class change. FOr 15 Points you can change your class.
Mogul, Fearless and Maniac are the 3 types of characters in Mafia Wars.Mogul has the advantage with money.Fearless has less time health recovery.Maniac has less time recovering energy.
When you first start Mafia Wars you have the option of fearless, maniac, and mogul. You can only choose one and you can't change it after (UPDATE: As of late February, 2010, you can change your class for 15 reward points in the Marketplace). Mogul earns money faster, fearless recovers stamina faster, and maniac recovers energy faster. Since energy is the most important resource in the game, veteran players advise beginning players to choose the maniac status.
You can only buy properties if you are a Mogul, which really stinks since I was a Maniac... but if you are a Mogul then just click Properties.
It all depends on the kind of character you chose to be at the beginning, mogul, fearless or maniac. If you chose to be a mogul, which is all about amassing money, then you don't have the option to buy property; you run rackets. Fearless and maniac have the option to buy and sell properties.
Once you are no longer a maniac your time will go up to every 5 minutes instead of every 3 minutes (or to 4 mins 30 seconds from 2 mins 30 seconds) You will however still 'keep' any of the extra energy you have already built up as a Maniac - it'll just take longer to regenerate.
