It's not a too difficult job to do, however it does involve removing the fuel tank. Before attempting to do this you must release the pressure off of the system first. Disconnect the neg battery terminal as well. The pressure regulator is located on top of the fuel tank. You can remove the fuel pressure regulator by removing four nuts closest to the rear bumper that holds the skid plate in place. There are three more on the other side. You do not have to remove the nuts from the long bolts as these are the tank straps and do not have to be removed. Make sure to disconnect the fuel filler hose from the housing. The fuel pressure regulator is the silver looking cap on the very top of the tank. Unplg the connections and hose. Reove the hold down clip and pry up with two screwdrivers and the pressure regulator will "pop" out. You could also remove the large ring and remove the entire fuel pump assembly. To remove the fuel line connectors, simply squeeze the ears in and pull. The fuel pump /sending unit has a safety lock connector that is held in place with a red tab. You must slide the center piece on the red locking tab to the right and pull the red tab out. Then simply pull the plug apart.
Good Luck.
