To change the gear oil on a 1994 Kawasaki Ninja EX500, start by warming up the engine slightly to thin the oil, then turn it off. Locate the gear oil drain bolt at the bottom of the transmission and remove it to drain the old oil into a pan. Once drained, replace the drain bolt and remove the fill plug on the side of the transmission, then use a funnel to add the recommended gear oil until it reaches the fill level. Finally, replace the fill plug securely, and check for any leaks.
What about it? There are several options out there in that range from EX500 (GPZ500S) to the KLE500 and ER500.

To change the air filter in a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja EX500, first, remove the seat and the side panels to access the airbox. Unscrew the airbox cover and gently lift it off to reveal the filter. Replace the old filter with a new one, ensuring it fits snugly, then reassemble the airbox cover and side panels before reattaching the seat. Always consult the owner's manual for specific details and recommendations.
