How do you change into a bought costume on Poptropica?

When you are playing Poptropica you can collect items. They are stored in the little backpack in the corner of the screen. Go into the backpack and you'll see a long blue bar with an arrow pointing down and the name of the island you're playing on it.

When you click the arrow, you will see "store items" at the top, which includes any items (costumes or effects) that you have purchased. Click on this and your purchased items will appear. Click "costumize" and you can change into your costumes.

*To save costumes that you copy from other Poptropicans, you can buy the Costume Collector, which saves 3 sets of costumes.

To use the Costumizer, just click on the t-shirt icon on the top right of your screen. Then click a character to copy them. You can pick up many items of clothing, but not all expressions, facial hair, or carried items will copy.

You can seldom copy boy costumes as girls, or girl costumes for boys. (Some Barbie ad-games have allowed cross-gender wear.) You also cannot copy Store Items worn by other players.

To wear a purchased costume, select its card from your item bag, under the top menu tab, which is Store items. Choose the items you want and press accept.

To wear special or reward costumes, or to use followers or effects, similarly select their card from your item bag.

To change your complexion, buy the Colorizer from the store, or visit the balloon vendor at Poptropica Towers in Early Poptropica. To change your hair color, use the Colorizer or go to the Diner in 24 Carrot Island, where you can use the hair-coloring drink machine.
