all you do is undo the nut on the bottom of the sump and drain the oil
They Are under the Intake manifold like on my 04 kia sedona, You have to removethe center part of the manifold.
a kia Rio 04 takes approx 3.3 litres if you are changing oil and filter.
Place a drip pan beneath your engine oil pan. Remove the engine oil plug. Allow the old engine oil to drain out. Remove the engine oil filter, by turning it to the left. Fill the oil filter with oil and return it to its original position. Put the oil pan drain plug into its original position and fill the engine with new motor oil.
Pull the cover towards you (away from the glass). Then just twist the bulb sockets counter-clockwise about 45 degrees and pull down.
there are four screws holding the cover in place. Remove them and unscrew the cap covering the bulb. Use a screwdriver to pop wire off, it moves to the side. Remove bulb.
How do you change trans. oil in 04 f350? and why does toe keep engageing and stays on
how do you install a fuel filter on an 04 kia Rio
In the 2002, there is an idler beneath the alternator. When it's loosened, the belt relaxes and can be removed. I don't know if it's different in an '04. I had the radiator, air conditioner condensor, and oil cooler out to replace the alternator. I don't know if you can reach the idler without removing these things. I also do not know how easy/difficult it is to rethread the belt since it doesn't just run the alternator.
The 04 Kia Sorento 2.5 CRD has a timing chain.
the easiest way I have found to change the belts on my 04 kia sedona is to remove the passenger side wheel and then remove the plastic inner fender. This will give you direct access to the belts. Then loosen the belt tensioner pulley by loosening the nut in the middle of the pulley and then loosen the bolt underneath. This will allow you to remove the belt. To reassemble just do the same in reverse. REMEMBER to tighten the bolt in the center of the pulley. I lost the pulley one time and no parts store carries that particular pulley. I had to rob one from a salvage yard.
On my 04 Camry that means it's time for an oil change.
still need to know how many quarts of oil it takes to change my oil in a '04 GMC Envoy?
