With the bike on the center stand, oil catch container under the rear of the engine. The drain plug is at the rear of the engine on the foot brake side. Remove the plug, drain the oil, replace plug. At the front of the engine near the lower rad. hose is the oil filter. It is in a case with a long center bolt. Remove the bolt and as you look at this there are 2 tabs on the casing and a boss ( bump ) on the engine block. The 2 tabs line up with the boss so that the casing does not move when installed. Watch as you remove the casing. There is a washer and a spring in there. Replace the 2 o-rings . With bolt in the casing, then spring, washer, and new filter. Takes 3.2 L of oil. I use 10w40.Check the dip stick, and check for leaks. Ready to go.
