On the 3VZ engine, it is on the bottom of the engine. It is a big job because the oil pump sits on the front of the engine behind the timing belt. It also bolts into the oil pan, which can be a challenge to get on and off:
Timing belt: Everything comes off the front (including the fan and cooler) to access this. Mark the teeth, and be careful you don't screw the timing.
