The easy way is to jack up the drivers side, and put it on a jack stand.
Remove the drivers side front wheel you will be able to reach the plugs easy.
That reminds me, I need to regap mine.
The coils die faster than the plugs! The RX8 Irridium plugs need to be changed at 25,000 miles per the maintenance manual. Replace the plugs and ignition coils when the car won't rev over 9,000 rpm smoothly.

Four, 2 plus 2... mazda rx8 use 4 plugs, 2 x RE8C-L & 2 x RE9B-TAnd to replace them u have to remove the front wheel, if u in uk, will be in the passanger side...If u change them , change one a time, dont put in the wrong place.ps. also recomend u to change coils, and wires

You need to buy hot start spark plugs which go on the leading plugs chamber. MAZDATRIX carries them
