Once you get the tie rod ends off the spindles and disconnect the steering column from the unit the rest is kind of a job. There is a plate under it that must come off, two hydraulic lines that must be disconnected and I believe it is three large bolts that run front to back. Then on one side or the other, under the rubber boot, you will need to loosen and remove the tie rod end. This usaully requires a special tool but if your careful not to scar anything up it can be done with a small pipe wrench. Then you are going to have to just work it back and forth, up and down until you can pull it out of there.
Make no mistake...it is a job to do it and you will still have to take it in for an alignment when you are finished. Good luck to you.
