NEW ANSWER : If you look at the back of the rear end you will see a big plate that is bolted on the housing. Put you a drain pan under the housing and remove all the bolts that hold it in place the pop the cover off and the gear oil will run out. Then clean plate up and install a new gasket and put back on.
Then slide in under the truck were the driveshaft hooks to the rear end and look at the passenger side of the housing and you will see a small plug that a 3/8 rachett will fit into and remove that plug and fill it back up with 85W90 gear oil. Your done.
