remove the differential cover,remove pinion shaft lock bolt,withdraw the pinion shaft part way,then rotate the dif untel the touches the case give you enought room to access the C-locks on the axle remove the C-locks,insert the pinion shaft back in,pull axles out,you need a slide hammer with a axle bearing remover attachmment to remove and bearing driver or a large socket reinstall good luck....haynes repair manual wll show you step by step

NO YOU CAN NOT. It will not lube the engine bearings.
NO Rear bearings are lubricated with the rear end / gear oil.
