You have to pop the panels off inside of your hatch, right on the other side of the tail lights, you should be able to see the back of the tail light from there.
This will be in your owners manual. You can also see the related question linked to the right for the 2005.

Unscrew the 4 screws holding the light covering and push softly on the bad bulb, turn right slightly and pull upward. Loom at side bumps to see which bump on the new bumd goes on which side of the light socket hole.
In the trunk there are some plastic nobs unscrew them and remove the lining on right/left depending on which it is. Once you have that done you should see all the nuts and stuff there.
Have you checked the fuses or bulbs?
change the bulb out for the brake light and that fixes the problem.

open the trunk, and pull back the carpet and there will be 2 nuts holding the light in place. unscrew them and pull the light out.
