Is it the 3.9L? I just changed mine. It wasn't too hard, but you MUST have patience. If its a 4x4, the plugs are shielded. I had to use a few different extensions for each one, but had no trouble removing them. The key is to have your ratchet extended out as far as needed to loosen each one. The left side looks difficult, but take your time, all three can be reached easily. The farthest back on the right is the most difficult (#6?), I could only fit the socket down the shield, then a short extension because of the power brake resevoir. I think if anything, the wires are far more difficult, trying to keep the wire harnesses and shielding in tact and in place.

you have to change them one at a time this way you cant mixup the wires cap the plugs to spec this can be found under the hood on a sticker or in the owners manual
