The front plug are no problem, but the back plugs can be a pain.

I have read that it is "easier" if you rotate the engine forward,

You can do this by securely attaching a "ratchet strap" to the top of the engine and to the front cross-brace.
Put the transmission in Neutral.
Then remove the 2 top "dog bones" (mounts) to the engine.
Tighten the strap to rotate the top of the engine forward.

Change the rear plugs (and wires) one at a time.

Rotate the engine back when you are done.

That's it.
