There are several things that can cause your automobile to crank, but not start. The most common cause is bad spark plugs or bad spark plug wires.
There are few things that can cause a car to not have any spark. The spark plugs may need to be replaced, the cables may need to be replaced, the battery could be drained or the starter may need to be changed.
well according to my calculations and Audi a4 has a tricky spark plug mechanism so you would have to squid face it
I was questioning that too Stock spark plugs NGK PFR6Q stock gap .032" thats what i found. So if your car is running stock, use that. If your car has been modified and run higher horsepower... do some research and seek a professional...
If you have not already replaced your spark plugs then do so, you might also want to check the coils while your replacing plugs if it still runs rough with loss of power try sea foam to clean your crank shaft and your injectors and all the fueling system.
take off ONLY the 'V6' engine cover (not the '5V' ones). Then you should see down the sides there are 3 HT leads going down each side. (if not, then i maybe forgetting some more covers or something needing to be removed). Take off each HT lead. Then, using a long spark plug wrench/remover, place the wrench down the tubes which hade the HT leads in, and move around until it clicks in, then screw counter-clockwise until the spark plugs are unscrewed. Then you can take the spark plug out.
