I just bought a used 06 2500 5.7 liter hemi. You will need 16 spark plugs. Yup. 16. I have had chevys so i was surprised. There are 2 per cylinder. They are located under the coil packs. There are 8 coil packs on the valve covers. 4 per side. There are NO plug wires. None. My Hemi has rubber boots attached to the coil packs. My truck had 70k miles on it and they looked original. They came right out without any problems. You will need a good spark plug socket with the rubber boot in there to help pill the plug out of the hole. Lots of threads. You will need a couple different size extensions. Medium to short work best in the back cylinders where the firewall is a little tight. (but simple) The 2nd hardest ones are under the break booster. (not bad). Im not a mechanic and wasnt rushing. Took about an hour. The rubber boots pushed on pretty easy. Theres no way u can drop the plug inside the motor. Irs a sleeved hole.
