Take the old one out and put a new one in
Hi i had same problem new heater plugs cured it
My Scenic is a 2001 model with a 1998cc motor. The engine type is F4R which has 4 spark plugs. The spark plugs use a 5/8" socket plug. You will need about a 15cm extension on the socket as the plugs are situated deep inside the engine.
undo coilpacks from each cylinder with a torque key (star drive)and plugs are under neath just take out and replace
You are not being very specific here, but it being deisel, the first thing I would check is the glow plugs, try replacing them, fairly easy job not expensive.
Hi Scenic owner,To access to the location, you have to remove engine cover by lifting the front part, ie nearer to you, then pull the cover towards you. This will prevent damaging the cover.Every spark plugs has its individual ignitor. It can be removed by unfastening bolt size 10mm socket.Once the ignitor is removed, the spark plug which is inside the plug well can be removed by using the right size spark plug socket wrench.Hope this help.
On top ov t engine you wil c t coil packs normally light grey or brown tops, remove them with a ten ml socket then pul them up and change.under them you wil c the spark plugs.aparently this is a coman fault in meganes.recomend 4 new coilpacks and spark plugs
It is 0.9mm
2 ways easiest is too remove inlet manifold other is too remove engine 3 ltrs only

E-mail Haynes Car Manuals and ask if they do a manual for this vehicle, then buy one.
