Interesting question. It normally leaks out and requires topping off rather than replacement. I recommend not changing it, rather top off with 90 weight gear oil, or...you can fill it full of moly grease and call it done. Either work fine.
It would naturally ground through the steering box, to the frame.
No, the super beetle had rack and pinion steering and macpherson stut suspension. The standard had torsion tubes where the steering box mounted. sorry totally different.
i have a 71 mach 1, and i would assume they are around the same place in the car. if you lay on your back with the top of your head by the pedals looking up towards the steering wheel, it will be directly left of the steering column it is a black box with alot of wires around it. you cant miss it.
Yes get donor parts from 70 71 72 Monte Carlo will fit,,,,,brackets hoses gear box,,,changed mine to a 73 Nova works perfect ,,have a 307 small block
If you are looking for one it is usually on the drivers side of the car.
To work out a 71% of something, change 71 to a deciman (0.71) and multiply this by the number For example, 71% of 100 can be worked out by the following method: 0.71 x 100 = 71. Therefore, 71% of 100 is 71.
take the oil pan off the engine and then unbolt the oil pump from the engine.
I would imagine it is in the oil pan
im not sure!!But I think 71
if you want to change fuse type to newer plugin you will need to change fuse box. if you just need to change one fues that is stuck put on saftey goggles and use a pick and lift out the fuse by metal end caps
It will, but it will overhang on both sides at the rear by about an inch. 88 was the first year of the new body style which has a slightly tapered box. The rear of the box is actually narrower than the front of the box. The 85 box is 71 inches across the front and the back, whereas the 88 box is 71 inches across the front, and 69 inches across the back.
