Ive read on forums it has to be cut off with a dremmel etc Bit pointless it being there!
The Camry in 1990 doesnt have a shift solenoid. It was controled by a hydraulic shift governor inside the transmission. So the trans. has to come out and be opened up.
no not at all the motor doesnt no any different, just make sure the fuel injection is for the compression ratio of your motor. Call any company that sells fuel injection and they can set you up with the right parts, you might need to change your intake depending on the fuel injection you are buying
if the started doesnt do anything its the solenoid if it just clicks and spins its the bendix

no, mine doesnt
it doesnt have one

Not to bash on the last answer, but, the starter solenoid probably isn't at fault here. If it will start with the screwdriver then the starter solenoid is functioning. It either does or it doesnt. The answer lies in circuitry back from the solenoid to the ignition switch. You could have a bad ignition switch or neutral/safety switch.AnswerDefective starter solenoid.
Not Sure mine doesnt seem to have one 2004 HDI but the handbook shows there is.
it doesnt change
ask the person you stole it from
