Answer If you mean the temperature sending unit that sends the signal to the guage (display) it is on the passenger side of the engine at the top near the fuel injectors and spark plugs. It's a little hard to see but easy to check and change. On models with non-digital guages pull the wire off of it (make sure it's the right one!!!) and have someone turn on the ignition while you hold the wire to ground. The needle sure move up. If not the guage or wiring is bad. If it does move up the guage and wiring are good and you can replace the sending unit by unscrewing it (After engine is completely cool) and replacing with a new one....
