All you need is a Phillips head screw driver, and a flat head screw driver.
First, you unscrew the two Phillips head screws at the bottom of the black panel.
Then you pop the bottom loose with the flat head screw driver.
Pop the clock loose ate the top by pushing in the flat head at the bottom of the clock mount and prying it out. you will have to unplug the clock by popping loose the little tabs that hold in place on the two cords that connect the four way flasher and the clock, but make sure you don't lose the spring that is inside the four way switch!! Next, you unscrew the Phillips screw that was right behind where the clock was, then you just pull the whole unit out and disconnect the AC controls. Put it back together in the same order you took it apart.

On my 2000 accord the cruise control panel on the left of the steering wheel is out. But the dashboard light still works and so does the actual cruise control. As long as the cc still works its not a big deal.
