the multi-function switch (dimmer, turn signal, washer/wiper control lever) is usually available from your local parts retailer so you are able to get it from a source other that the dealership. typically, with the correct tools, a mechanically minded individual should be able to replace the switch in about an hour or so. as with most automotive electrical repairs, be certain to disconnect the battery before proceeding to avoid an electrical short and possible fire. good luck
