The cabin air filter in the 1998 Lincoln Mark is located behind the glove box. The glove box will need to be removed to get to the filter.

You have to drain the radiator, water goes to it, and remove the bolts, and remove the housing, a pain but take your time.

Its inside the passenger side front fender. Remove the plastic cover. Replace as you would any other Lincoln filter.
There is a sticker on the inside of the trunk on the trunk hinge.
They are the bayonet type, just release the tension with a screwdriver and it will slip out.

The fuel filter on a 1998 Mark VIII is located in the right front wheel well bejhind the splashield aft of the wheel. Jack the front right of the car up, remove the right wheel assembly, and then remove CAREFULLY the plastic splash shield affixing hardware and then you will see the fuel filter up in the well... I could not believe it was located there either!!!!
